It absolutely is possible to predict PRNG results based on previous results. This is a common technique in cryptanalysis.

For example, the Mersenne Twister is a very popular PRNG. In its most common implementation, observing 624 consecutive outputs allows one to reconstruct the entire state of the generator and thus predict all future outputs.
